About Doug Byrkit
Doug Byrkit hailing from St. Louis MO is a singer/songwriter with the national recording artist group “Odds Lane” and the current touring/recording bassist for the International Blues Award winning artist Mike Zito. Doug graduated from Southern IL University with both a BA and Master’s Degree in Music Performance. Credits include music featured on The Discovery Channel, MTV, A&E, E, Oxygen and OWN Networks as well as several indie film projects. In addition, Doug received an ASCAP Plus Award for achievements in songwriting as well as performing on a number of Billboard chart topping albums by various artist including Kevin Burt, Kat Riggins, Mike Zito, and The Blood Brothers as well as working with award winning producers such as Josh Smith and Joe Bonamassa.
